Detox your skin with Kale, a superfood with a dark green hue.
Kale is a member of a botanical group that has excellent health-promoting properties. It is loaded with antioxidants, high in vitamins and minerals, is a fantastic detoxifying agent, and is rich in vitamins K and C. It can reduce the appearance of dark spots or hyperpigmentation on the skin and help the skin fight free radicals and aid in collagen production.
So, a Kale-based facial mask is a natural cleansing agent to protect our skin’s surface from grime, excess oil, and dead skin cells. We will also add yogurt and honey to this recipe. The lactic acid in the yogurt will induce gentle exfoliation, allowing Kale’s nutrients to penetrate the skin more effectively. A tablespoon of honey will behave as an anti-microbial agent in protecting the skin.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Fresh Kale (skip the stems and use the leaves)
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey
- Few drops of clean water to blend the mixture well
Method:
- Place all the ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth.
- If the mixture is too thick, add drops of water to achieve the desired consistency. It should be like a medium-thick, soft paste, easy to layer on the skin.
Directions of Use:
- Wash your face well before applying the mask.
- Apply the mask evenly with a spatula or clean fingers to cover your entire face – cheeks, chin, forehead. Mind your eyes! ๐
- Allow it to sit for 15 – 20 mins or until it feels hard to touch.
- Wash thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- Make this mask your weekly routine, at least twice a week.

I enjoy my favorite natural green cleansing mask. Hope you do too! ๐
